Kashif Wasim Mirza
Kashif Wasim Mirza has more than 16 years of experience in strategic and operational manangement both in public and private sector. He is currenlty working a Operations Manager (MENA) for the Australian Trade Commission based in Dubai – UAE. Before moving to UAE from Paksitan in 2007, he has worked with DFID, The World Bank and Deloitte in various capacities.
Mr Mirza is an optimist, believes in a bright future and our ability to build it together.
Captain Abdul Hafeez Nasir
Captain Abdul Hafeez Nasir is a Master Mariner with over 23 years of deep Sea experience for shipping industry, especially in the area of operations management. Additionally he is a Lead for various standards like ISM, QMS, EMS, OHSAS and NEBOSH. Since last 11 years he is working ashore, managing Abu Dhabi fleet for offshore oil fields marine operations and presently working with ADNOC subsidiary as a Marine Projects Specialist for New oil fields development.
Muhammad Younus Lakhani
Mr. Lakhani is civil engineer by profession and graduated from NED university of engineering and technology – Karachi. He has been pioneer in construction industry with some innovative ideas and successful projects. He is CEO of M/S Lakhani builders Besides his professional activities he is instrumental in development of engineering resources , Member of EPE ( Engineers of Pakistan in Emirates) , representing in Pakistan Engineering Council and renowned phlintrophist . Since inception he is part of TDC team and TDC taking benefits his valuable advices.
Ashif is by profession a qualified Chartered Accountant and a qualified Cost & Management Accountant. Currently he is the Managing Director of a management consulting firm and a bookkeeping franchiser for Queensland, Australia. He is also coaching entrepreneurs from across Australia and New Zealand in setting up new businesses including setup, business development, management, and client relationship etc.
In his previous roles, he has worked as Director – Advisory Services with Beaufort Associates (Dubai), Head of Finance and Operations with Prudential Asset Management (Saudi Arabia and Dubai), Manager Specialist Advisory Services and Auditor with Grant Thornton (Pakistan).
He has operationally managed multi billion dollar funds in the Middle East and India. He has been involved in advising several clients including banks, asset management companies, high net worth individuals, telecom service providers, and various government departments in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Singapore, Hong Kong and Pakistan. In social sector, he worked as lead auditor for clients including UNDP, USAID, CIDA and IUCN in the areas of operations and finance. Key sectors which he served includes education, poverty elevation, conservation of natural resources, social marketing, media, and devolution of power by government etc.
He is one of the founding members of The Diabetes centre- Pakistan . He advises TDC on various operational and financial matters.
Mr Muzaffar Hashmi is the CEO of Haroon’s Estate & Builders, one of the most trusted and the fastest growing real estate brand and consulting agencies in Pakistan.
He has established a big name and fame for himself in real estate and construction industry through excellent delivery on his promises and fair dealings. His experience and commitment have transformed Haroon’s Estate & Builders into a respectable name in the property industry.
Mr. Muzaffar Hashmi is known for his significant contributions in philanthropic initiatives for the advancement of the society. He is always committed to making the world a better place by participating in events, activities and projects that serve communities, such as The Diabetes Centre (TDC), Pakistan’s first specialized diabetes hospital. Mr. Muzaffar has offered his full support to TDC for its upcoming expansion projects aimed at reducing the burden of diabetes and its associated complexities in Pakistan.
Engr. Farooq Bhatti
Graduated in Civil Engineering from UET Lahore back in 1998 and posses 20 years experience in infrastructure projects planning, business needs, defining budgets and estimates, procurement and contracts Management. He is currently working as Senior Manager with Abu Dhabi Airports since last 12 years in Contracts and Procurement. Farooq’s voluntary contribution towards TDC in advisory role from TDC inception, team building, project planning, management, execution and operational functions are remarkable and are indeed value addition to TDC core Management.
Syed Hasan Bokhari
Syed Hasan Bokhari is a highly established Multinational Entrepreneur. He is always eager to contribute heartily towards Projects with sound promise to develop Pakistan. Mr. Hasan Bokhari successfully entered in the property business after completing his higher education in the United Kingdom. He flourished for several years as a construction magnate. After the deregulation of the telecom market in the U.K, Mr. Hasan Bokhari has enjoyed perpetual success in the domain of household telecom services.
Upon return to Pakistan in 2005, he dominated the Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan territories’ telecom sectors with a largescale investment that did not prove to be cumbersome. In 2016, Mr. Hasan Bokhari acquired Wi-Tribe Pakistan Ltd., a renowned telecom company in Pakistan with a vast telecom network in all major cities. Now, he is leading the H.B (Hasan Bokhari) Group International that has cemented its place in the telecom sector, aviation sector, power sector, security provision, realty services and real estate sectors.
Mohammed Ibraheem Khan
Serial Entrepreneur and a Fintech evangelist, Mohammed Ibraheem Khan is a law graduate from the prestigious University of Hertfordshire, UK. Born in a middle-class Pakistani family, Ibraheem gave wings to his entrepreneurial dream from a very humble background. At the young age of 23, Ibraheem started his first company in the UK with a mere investment of 500GBP. Within the first two years, the construction company had a turnover in excess of 1 Million GBP. This, however, was not enough for Ibraheem as he had bigger dreams to chase.
He moved to Dubai to start his flagship company, Peninsula Business Solutions in 2008. With its success, he went on to establish other companies like OneGram, GoldGuard, and HUULK, one after the other. All these companies are now brought under the MIK Group. Ibraheem is credited for being the founder and innovator of the first-ever sharia-compliant Islamic cryptocurrency. This has made him a prominent industry leader in the fintech and banking industry across the GCC. He has been featured in the Forbes Middle East and Reuters for his entrepreneurial initiatives. Ibraheem now has business interests in 13 countries and with an annual turnover of more than 500 Million USD.
Though the MIK group does not reveal the details of its CSR activities, Ibraheem is also known for his philanthropic initiatives in UK and Pakistan. He also serves on the advisory board of Non-Profit Organization for humanitarian works.
Mohammad Abbasi started his career by working for a hedge fund and moved on to working as a corporate banker in the Middle East. Currently, Mohammad works in his family business, Sieger Industries, in Pakistan and oversees the family business interests abroad.
Mohammad was educated at the University of Oxford where he read History at undergraduate level and then went on to do his Masters in Diplomatic Studies. He serves as a senior advisor on the Oxford Diplomatic Society.
Rizwan Farooqi has more than 27 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and works as regional head of Middle East & Africa for a Canadian Company and is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Throughout his career, Rizwan has served in leadership roles overseeing a large portfolio of oil and gas processing plants in the Middle East and Africa markets. He held executive business development, applications, and engineering management positions in Canada, Singapore, Vietnam, Pakistan, and now in UAE. Rizwan holds an MBA degree with a specialization in Natural Resources & Energy from the University of Alberta, Canada. He also has two undergraduate degrees including civil engineering from UET Lahore. Rizwan has extensively researched emissions and climate control-related issues and has several research papers published with the University of Alberta’s Centre for Business Research.
