TDC signed an MOU with Emirates Red Crescent-UAE
The Diabetes centre- Pakistan is pleased to announced that a memorandum of understanding (MOU) has been signed with Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) UAE.
According to this MOU, ERC support TDC-Pakistan in collection of donations across UAE through donation coupons of denomination AED10 and AED50.These coupons are available across UAE at ERC booths and stalls at malls, masjid and other public places.
However if coupons are not available then anyone can deposit donations through hand-written “receipt” available at all booths mentioning the name of “The Diabetes Centre- Pakistan Project 1435” or in Arabic “مرکز السکری الباکستان – اسلام آباد مشروع رقم ١٤٣٥”. If you donate and get a hand- written receipt, then please send your receipt copy to info@thediabetescentre.com
SECP Registration
TDC incorporated in November 2011 as a not-for-profit company, registered with Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under Companies Ordinance of 1984. TDC is licensed to establish, support, run, manage and maintain hospitals, clinics, operation theatres, diagnostic centres and indoor and outdoor treatment facilities all over Pakistan, particularly for diabetes and generally for other diseases.
PCP Registration
The PCP Certification Programme seeks to bring transparency, accountability and good governance in the nonprofit sector in Pakistan. The first initiative of its kind in South Asia; it involves the evaluation of a nonprofit organisation on standardised parameters of internal governance, financial management and programme delivery.
This voluntary assessment aims to enhance a CSOs’ credibility and resultantly its access to funding. Through the allied activities of this programme, PCP promotes certified CSOs in an annual directory and on its website and also builds capacities of civil society organisations for greater effectiveness.
